Nice large size for travel. Love the color. The back pocket is padded for your laptop or other device. Large pockets on each side for water bottle. Just wish there were a couple more pockets inside and a key fob!

I love my Seoul Extra Large 17" Laptop Backpack. It is excellent for traveling and to carry everything I need to college classes. It has room for my laptop, my Ipad, my books, and small items. Awesome bag
I love the color. It’s a very vibrant pink. I got the large backpack, and it is more than big enough to carry a CPAP machine, wireless over the ear headphones, my overloaded purse, an iPad, 3 water bottles, and whatever other junk I had put in it when I boarded a flight. The straps are adjustable and well padded, so it was also comfortable to wear.

Love my first Kipling purchase!
A friend had a Kipling backpack and found about Kipling. This was my first purchase and love the vibrant color and the room how much it can hold as she explained. Wasn’t sure whether to get Large or Extra Large, so bought one of each to compare-Large looks better when worn and extra large made me look like a Ninja Turtle (I’m 5’7’’)
It definitely holds more than you’d think and super light. Bought one for my daughter as well. Highly recommend! My inly complaint was that it doesn’t come with a fuzzy monkey keychain.

Solid Choice for Everyday Wear
I love the spaciousness of this bag--it is perfect for when I am on the go. I originally bought this bag for school, but since receiving it I instead use it as my daily purse-backpack. It holds my laptop, different books, and literally everything from my old daily bag with room to spare. I love the color that I selected, cocktail pink--although it does not match with all my clothes, the color definitely stands out with any outfit I wear with it and the straps are the cutest. I've had other Kipling backpacks before so I know that this bag and the outer nylon-like material will last long, of course as long as I treat it well.

Superior quality, smart pockets
I chose Kipling for a school backpack because I still have a Kipling travel backpack handed down to me that is 25 years old.
My new Seoul backpack is made with the same quality and attention to detail and so far I’m very happy with it. It has the perfect amount of pockets, fits my 15” laptop perfectly, along with the charger, a bunch of books, my water bottle, my wallet, pens, and headphones in a separate pocket which makes sure they never tangle. It is also incredibly cute.

Useful as a Diaper Bag
Appears just as it does in the pictures. It's uncommonly roomy with lots of different compartments. I'm using it as my diaper bag/ purse so I don't have to carry two different bags--convenient. The only drawback is that it sits a little funny on my back when I'm using both straps; it's not uncomfortable though. I'm not sure if it's because there's too much material or what, but thought it was worth mentioning. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

roomy backpack with amazing color and design
I’ve been using kipling bags for the longest and they are the best! they are waterproof, high quality, stylish and lightweight. Bought this backpack because i needed more space and i wasn’t disappointed. the backpack had a lot of room; currently i have 2 binders and 1 laptop and there’s plenty more space. other than the space and how light it is i love the color, mine has a neon color inside which makes me love it even more! huge fan of this brand and would definitely recommend.

An upgrade from my old metallic Caity Medium Backpack
So happy with my purchase. I previously owned a metallic Caity Medium Backpack for 3-4 years, and never disappointed at how durable this kind of these backpacks are and they're water-resistant! So it's time for me to replace with a new one that specifically for my 14" laptop., more pockets and room. I thought the bag was great although I wanted something that looked more like a purse! There are some stores in my area where you can’t have a backpack but a backpack that looks like a purse is just fine! I liked that it was not heavy but once I put all my things in it I knew it would not work for me! It is very well made and I loved that about it! I did return it!

Great quality for many years to come
I own several Kipling pieces from the late 1990’s. They still look like new. I purchased this one in Jaded Green because of its unique color and I definitely don’t have this color in my collection. (it’s like an army green color) The bag is compact but big enough that I can fit all my things. This bag is amazingly perfect for traveling, cruising, and even Disney because l can pack it with everything I need without feeling overwhelmingly heavy. I’m in love with this bag and plan to purchase another one in the same color for my daughter who asked me why didn’t I get her one. Worth every penny.
The only negative that I found (and it’s all about preference) is that the monkey is not fluffy. I love my fluffy Kipling monkey. My daughter was disappointed when she couldn’t find his/her name. That’s our favorite part of owning a Kipling...the monkey’s name. Please Kipling don’t stop making the fluffy monkey. I want to get a fluffy one this color.

Was looking for a small bag and this fits the bill perfectly! Smaller backpacks typically have thin, uncomfortable strap but the ones on these are nicely padded with cushion so it's really comfortable to carry! Loved the little monogram i added onto it too, made it even cuter!

Perfect everyday use
For a small backpack, it has a lot of room! I can fit my 10 inch iPad , wallet, collapsible cane, 4 foldable bags, a Kipling pouch, 3 pair of glasses, and two sets of keys, small notebook and pens, and my smart phone. I am so surprised how much I can put in it.

great small backpack
This is the 3rd Kipling backpack I've gotten, it's the smallest one I have but it surprisingly fits a lot, I use it for school and it perfectly fits my laptop in the inner pocket, and just recently I took it on a weekend trip and it fit everything I brought.

My favorite bag
I love this backpack. It’s my third w Kipling.I have a black one that I’ve used for years. I wanted another in a lighter color for spring and summer. I’m totally pleased with this bag. I use it daily for long walks and running errands. I also have an orange Kipling this style in a larger version that I use when traveling.

Perfect size and great structure!
Perfect size and structure. Pocket storage is great. Very well made.
Only suggestion is to add key fobs on both sides. I tuck the keys into the outside pockets, but need a key fob to hook onto. Suggesting both sides as it depend on whether you are right or left-handed.
Also wish the monkey was the same as the other backpacks.🐒

Works on horseback
This bag is just what I needed, it is the perfect size and I can use it when I am riding my pony, which is what I needed it for. It is small enough that it doesn’t bounce on her back when my pony trots and it doesn’t unbalance me when I am mounting or dismounting.

Awesome compact backpack!
This is my second version of this backpack. I have the grey with yellow-green zipper. This fits my iPad Pro wallet, make up pouch, note pad and foldable shopping gag in the large compartment. In the second I put sunglasses, glasses, pens, and a hanker shift. The small front pouch has a flat round tin with mints. On the side pockets, keys on one side and hand sanitizer in the other.

I love my Kipling Seoul Nostalgia Brown Small Tablet Backpack. It gives me such 90's vibes. If you love small backpacks but want more than enough room get this backpack. As a black woman the color of the bag makes me feel inclusive - the neutrality is everything! I hope Kipling makes more of their products in this brown and or thinks about making a line that are neutral tones and inclusive.

A beautiful backpack that I have long wanted!
This is a very beautiful backpack that I have long wanted to buy in a pair with MY new ANGIE purse in the same color. I really want to travel with these two wonderful partners, besides I have a Kipling suitcase bought in Madrid, it turns out a whole Kipling team!))))
There is one remark-the backpack comes in a folded state and it is at first crumpled, I had to fill it with paper and it became smooth and beautiful after a while. I also assumed that it would fit my HP 13 "ultrabook, but this is not the case, the 13" ultrabook only fits when tilted in the large compartment of the backpack. But in General, this is a very beautiful thing and as practice shows by the wear of this metallic coating - it is quite durable.

Pandemic Purchase/Hope for the Future
While I haven't had the chance to really take my new Seoul small backpack for a spin since the pandemic hit, I do know that it is small enough for me to wear everyday and spacious enough for traveling. My 15" MacBook Pro just fits in the padded internal compartment. I also like the 2 side "water bottle" sleeves...It serves as easy access (not having to take a strap of the backpack off) for my mobile phone. It is super cute, lightweight, has great storage pockets/zippers, key clip and very comfortable padded straps. Looking forward to getting out of the house more to be able to use it!

Can't be better. I purchase two, one is Seoul large and the other one is Seoul go large. According to the description and the backpacks I receive, I don't think they have any difference except the colors. There might be some difference between handfeel. The go large is a little stiffer. It's confusing to list in different titles.

Love Kipling backpacks!
This is an improvement over the previous Seoul backpack in that it has exterior drink bottle holders (both sides). The main compartment has double zippers which is an essential feature for me. Plenty of room. I got the color Aqua Frost and am thrilled with it - was exactly as pictured in photos.

Very lightweight and exactly as pictured. The bottom stays folded in, making the bag smaller. But when you need to fit larger items the bottom can be pushed out and will fit a lot of stuff. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

Will always buy a kipling backpack
Im a college student and I love this backpack, lots of space. It fits my 14inch laptop, 2.5 inch binder, and a bunch of my other school stuff easily and organized. There are always a lot of pockets in kipling bags its great for organizing your things. The straps dont hurt, and it doesn't look big when I wear it even though there is so much inside. The backpack has a beautiful bright red color, exactly as pictured. It is well made and is of a very good quality. There are a lot of useful pockets inside and this time there are also two functional water bottle pockets on the outside of this backpack. Inside, the backpack fits comfortably a Chromebook, pencil case, books, and notebooks. It fits well on my 8 y.o. daughters' back, and the straps can be further adjusted to any comfort level.

Replaced my 11 y.o bag
This is my second Seoul large backpack. I had my old one for over 11 years. The zipper failed and I repurchased this one to replace it. This newer version has side pockets to hold bottles which my old one did not however inside the smaller zippered area, the new one has 1 pocket sleeve versus the 2 my old one had. My old bag had the original monkey this one has the modern monkey, so I was surprised but I just hooked my old monkey on this new bag. I find that the back has better support and more cushioning compared to the old one. I hope to get as much time or more out of this bag too.

I thought it was going to be too big but its not. little bigger than the jansport and can fit way more stuff than i thought. doesnt look too bulky and i love the simple design and the monkey it comes with is so cute. The straps have a little padding so its not uncomfortable to wear. I love it and how much stuff fits in it. It also doesnt sag at the bottom when i have text books in it. 10/10 i would definitely recommend I use it in high school and ill definitely use it in college.

This Red is To DIE For!!!
I had previously purchased a this style of Kipling bag before earlier this year. However, my husband has taken that backpack so I need a new one! Ever since I seen this red color Kipling used, I knew what color my next backpack was! I cannot get over this GORGEOUS red. It's a popping color. Not orangey at all.
The only downside to this backpack is I wish the side pockets were more stretchy to fit bigger bottles. It fits standard water bottles but bigger ones have a tough time fitting especially if the bag is full.

Great for a high school student
My daughter just entered high school and she is now stepping away from pinks /purples and wanted a black backpack for this year that can carry her laptop. She has a purple Kipling backpack from last year and loved that also, but that one is not meant for carrying laptops. I absolutely LOVE my new Kipling Backpack - it will be traveling with me to Japan soon, as it has the perfect amount of space to carry all my travel needs, it's lightweight, plus it has 2 exterior side pockets for my water-bottle and umbrella! I do wish it matched my smaller yellow ochre colored Seoul backpack - this one is a tad bright, but otherwise it it full of pockets and is durable. I’ve had this since tenth grade and now I’m in college and it’s still in perfect shape. I remember having to replace my old backpacks every couple of years because they were falling apart but this one is perfectly intact even though it’s definitely had it’s fair share of rough usage. I love that it allows me to carry all my daily stuff in ONE thing on my back leaving my hands free. I've had this backpack for a few months. It's a very spacious backpack that fits a 15.6" laptop in the laptop sleeve with extra room. Lots of pockets to organize school supplies and other essentials. If you're a student looking for a backpack that is spacious and can fit a lot, this is a solid choice.
The only downside I can find about this backpack is that it can look a bit big/bulky on your back depending on how much stuff you have inside of it. Overall, it's still a great backpack, and you won't be disappointed.

The backpack is well made, repels water, fits a lot, including all beach items that I need including towels, extra suit, cover up, suntan lotion bottles, mask and snorkel. It has two side water bottle pockets which is terrific and a small top zip pocket for small necessities that are readily available like lip balm, floss and eyeglass cleaners. PERFECT!!! This is our 3rd Seoul XL backpack. I was wrong.......I love it!
I just received this bag today and as I took it out of the package, my first thought was, "just another backpack, I wasted my money again." Well, I was wrong......way wrong! I am in grad school and have a Vera Bradley that I have been using, as well as a North Face and at first glance, it appeared as the same size as the rest of them and I figured it would not be able to hold my school/work stuff bc the ones I have can't. Not so.....I put the big heavy textbook, my computer, a billion pens, day planner, and masks (of course) along with my stethoscope in the compartments and was amazed that I still had room. The moment of truth was when I went to pick the bag up and sling it over my shoulder.....it felt better, lighter and not straining to hold the contents of what I need with me at all times. I was worried about my water bottle fitting in the side pocket as it seemed too small and again I was pleasantly surprised. I have been searching and wasting my money on finding the right backpack for me and finally found it. I am absolutely in love with this bag and couldn't wait to share how I felt about it. This is my first Kipling. A fellow nurse friend of mine has one in yellow and I really liked hers. I waited until Black Friday and scored a great deal on it. You Can’t Go Wrong With Kipling
I’m a HUGE Kipling fan! I have an endless amount of handbags, wallets, luggage and other backpacks as well. The products are durable and washable and the colors are fabulous! This backpack is no different. I needed to upgrade to a bigger backpack because my new laptop is too big for my old one, and I love it! It has plenty of extra space and room for everything I need to take to work on any given day. The backpack is great but it’s great because the brand is great. I’ve had some pieces for nearly 20 years and they are still in great condition.

Best backpack EVER! I am a nurse and a student, and this backpack fits everything I need to take to work and school. It fits my MacBook and also protects it, it has so many pockets that I ended up losing things inside the backpack. It is also great for traveling. I love this backpack so much, that I ended up buying 2 smaller ones for my kids to take to school and they also are very happy w/ theirs.

Amazing, just how I remember them!
I LOVED my Kipling messenger bag back in the 90s. (Yikes!) my daughter was so excited to get one after I explained how light it was and the derpy monkey that I loved. Ha! It’s huge, has compartments for everything, and is amazing in general. We modified her monkey a bit so no one can swipe him off (like they did to my dear “Jake”) back in my school days. (Still sad about Jake, btw)

My Girl loves her new backpack, and her coordinated lunch bag and pencil case. The print is soo sweet, and suuper confortable, plus everything fits in.(perfect sizing for a 8y) It looks sturdy, i'm sure it would last a while, (especially for other experiences with kipling). I love it!!! It’s so comfortable. I use it as a work bag 😁 and I have no regrets!!! I wanted something with padded shoulders, not too big but large enough to hold everything I carry. I really just love all the colors in the Active Jungle backpack. It was a little larger than I wanted it to be. Used it for traveling and it turned out to be used as my carry on. It helped me stay organized as it has plenty of storage areas. Having two water bottle pockets a BIG PLUS!

Spacious and Comfortable - a great backpack for educators, college students, travel
I'm a speech-language pathologist working at two school sites so I carry my laptop, binder, books, therapy materials, and personal items from one site to the other. This backpack is so spacious and when filled to the brim, it doesn't look bulky. Especially when I'm petite. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the side compartments hold my big water bottle nicely. Sometimes I have to shift my binder/books over so my bottle can slip in. I love the top compartment where I keep my masks for easy access (COVID-19). The only problem was that after about 1 week of use, the strap in the front compartment that connects the clip to hold keys broke so I am no longer using it since my keys just fall out the hook. Other than that, the backpack functions well and with all Kipling products, will last FOREVER.

This backpack is extremely comfortable for someone with chronic back pain. It has the necessary space for my laptop, notebook, and other essentials. I have mostly the small size but I do have the large size too. Just use the size appropriate one. Going shopping for something bulky and not too heavy, I use the large. I also carry Kipling’s folding bags as needed. To movies or visits, the small will work but I do use the large to carry impulse purchases. Saves money on purchasing plastic or paper bags.

Very happy with the lunchbox. My son loves to bring it to school. It's pretty lightly insulated, nothing heavy duty. I do think the back luggage strip would be better used as an outer pocket. I took a while to choose the color and liked this ambiguous print and, of course, I had to get the OG fluffy monkey.

i turned mine into the perfect sewing kit! The elastic slots hold scissors, seam ripper, safety pins, clips and other small tools. The large section holds spools of Thread , needles, pins, tape measure, gauge and thimbles.

I love the color!! I wish Kipling had more items available in this color. They call it Eggplant Purple but it's really much more of a periwinkle. The pen loops are small, and I couldn't get my mechanical pencils (which have rubber grips on them) through. I am a college student that loves stationery and has a good amount of stationery more than I need. It holds a lot of my everyday used pens and addition to that it holds my extra pens that I only use while doing art. One down side to it was that at the begging the straps were to harsh and it was hard to get my pens through the strap, but after while you get use to it and the straps loosen up that makes the pens go through easily. I was using the pencil case about a month now and it is still in a good condition.

By far my favourite piece. Great for school or makeup
Love it, the color is a vibrant, true red and seems very durable. It can also fit quite a bit, will use it for school supplies ( markers and colored pencils, scissors etc.). I'm considering getting a pattern colored one for my makeup when travelling.

Just What I Needed
I love my Kipling 100mPens Case! I bought one 3 years ago and it went everywhere i went packed with calligraphy supplies. I needed another one for all my day to day pens. I love the color. My old one is still perfectly functional but a bit abused. I didnt think i would fill this one up as fast as i did. The zipper is strong!!

Great case
Though I did not buy it to hold pens and stationery items, it served its purpose well. I purchased it to use as a makeup case as I saw others had used it for this purpose as well. The only issue I had with it was that the elastic loops were not large enough to hold many of my brushes, but because that is not the intended purpose of the case I did not downgrade the rating. I was still able to fit my makeup and brushes in the case and felt that everything was well protected and easily found and kept organized within the case while at my travel destination.

I really love that little backpack. I use it as my everyday purse and it fit everything in it. The compartments are great and the main compartment is nice and secure. The only drawback I have encountered are the straps. The setting is not staying at the same spot I had it adjusted to and they move every time I use the backpack. A different buckle which keeps it tight would be great.

Great backpack purse
I absolutely love this bag! It is a bit larger than the grey backpack purse it replaced but that turned out to be a benefit. It is beautifully made with zippers and clasps securely sewed. It is extremely lightweight. It has so many pockets which is a feature I always look for in a purse because I carry a lot of “stuff”. The small side pockets are big enough for a water bottle of moderate size. There are inside pockets for items you want more security for. The straps are fully adjustable but no ends to flap about. They are also very comfortable and easy to take on and off. If I didn’t have so many purses already, I would buy another one of these in a different color. Great buy!!!

My favorite Kipling!
This bag is lightweight and can pack a lot. I chose a lighter color and worry about getting a spot on it but it is durable and I have gotten it wet from rain without my stuff getting wet. I love this bag and use it for an everyday use with any outfit.

Small and organized
I bought this to use primarily when traveling, having grown tired of trying to cram too many pairs of glasses into a small crossbody bag. The size seems just right to hold my things, plus a bottle of water. Lots of pockets to keep me organized and the small side pockets are just right for my cell phone. It is a little too small for a laptop but that was not my objective.

I love this mini backpack! I used a mini backpack from another brand for years but the lack of additional zip pockets and the strap drove me to this backpack. I bought this in 2 colors...the blue bleu 2 and blue mist. I'm currently using the blue mist one and I love the color! I actually DIY'ed a zipper onto the open slip pocket with the cinch cord. I can put more things in there and zip it up.

Love My Little Red Mini Backpack!
This is my first Kipling backpack after depending upon Kipling shoulder bags for several years. Just recently unwrapped & loaded it up. As lightweight as the bags & everything fits just fine. Love the color & it appears equally well constructed as my other Kipling items are. Wanted to see if navigating with a backpack from SUV to market, etc., would simplify errands & am confident this backpack will. I’m slight & not tall so the mini is perfect. Plus it’ll discipline me not to carry more than what’s really necessary. I have serious back issues rendering heavy fancy leather bags problematic. Kipling is my Only go to now. Will likely get a Kipling wallet next. Pleased so far!!!

I have always been a fan of Kipling and after my backpack from another brand fell apart I decided to go back to Kipling. This backpack is the perfect size to carry all of my daily needs (including a filtered water bottle) with lots of storage pockets, which I absolutely love! My FAVORITE city backpack!
This is my second review for a City Pack Mini backpack. It is the BEST small backpack that Kipling has for travel, do errands, commuting. it has so many pockets that it make it super safe. It looks super small, but I think it's the perfect size. The interior fits an iPad Air (4th Gen) that is 10.9-inch, a mirrorless camera with fixed lens, a small wallet and small Totes umbrella, and you still have space. It won't fit a MacBook Air 13'.

Best bag ever for back problems
I bought this to use for hiking/camping/road trips, but I love it so much that I've stopped using my normal bag and have switched over to this completely. This is THE ONLY bag/purse/backpack I've found that doesn't hurt my back to carry. I have several herniated discs and arthritis in my spine but this doesn't aggravate my pain at all. Plus it's super cute! I highly recommend this and I hope they never discontinue it because I will buy it again and again.

Perfect Backpack Purse w/Phone Pockets
A wonderful bag that's exceeding expectations as a backpack-purse! Very functional, with accessible outer slide or snap pockets where I can keep my phone, keys, and sunglasses, as well as a more secure inner pocket where I can keep my wallet, etc. I love the waxed nylon - it gives a more glam (and partly rainproof) effect than a standard backpack, but remains very light and easy to carry. Small enough to suit a petite frame but large enough to carry my daily needs. I have a connective tissue disorder, and the ability to carry a bag on both shoulders and still have the functionality of a purse with easy access to phone, keys, etc. is really wonderful. After using mine for a few weeks, I bought a second one so I would have a color and a neutral metallic.

Stylish and comfortable bag for daily use
I love the metallic finishes on Kipling bags. I bought this as a replacement for an older Kipling bag that I used for 10 years(!), which is STILL intact, only the metallic finish faded somewhat.
The metallic fabric gives it a bit more structure than other fabrics too.
Perfect size for daily use while running errands; leaves my hands free to do other things. I got a matching crossbody phone bag too, and wear it for easy access to my phone.
The number of pockets is astonishing and allows to keep all the items separate from each other and easy to find. I am now considering ordering other sizes of this backpack model.

Nice, lightweight, practical all weather bag
Love the style, size, color, material of this bag. It’s lightweight, have lots of pockets and good for sunny, gloomy, rainy weather. I just wish the inside slip pocket is a bit wider and a pen holder would be a great addition. I prefer the cute original furry monkey than the new boring not attractive monkey. It’s very practical and economical bag especially when it’s on sale.

Great backpack. It's comfortable to carry, and spacious enough for a few folders, books, a pencil case, a wallet, a bottled water, and an umbrella to fit all at once. The navy color looks good and it goes well with a lot of outfits. I originally considering getting this backpack in black or purple, but I'm glad I got the navy one instead.

I love this bag. I thought it might be too small when I first got it but it is perfect. I fit my large wallet, sunglasses, and regular glasses in the back pocket. Fit all my other personal items in the front pocket. In the large main pocket I can fit multiple folders and at least two books. Each side pocket can hold keys. And there's a front slip pocket I can fit a water bottle in.

Great Backpack
I use this bag when going out with my toddlers, instead of a regular baby bag or purse. It holds a tremendous amount of things (wipes, pull-ups, sippy cups, my wallet, snacks, extra set of clothes, and an emergency pouch). It keeps my hands free while I hold their little hands or chase after them. I love it so much that I purchased a XS City Pack for going out with hubby or on my own.

I got the backpack a few weeks back after ordering it online. I've been using it for school.
Usually, my school backpack is bigger than this backpack, but I decided to use a smaller backpack since it's my last year of high school and I won't be taking as many classes. I won't suggest this backpack if you have a lot of things to stuff in because it is smaller than the typical backpack, only a a few inches bigger than a 3 inch binder. Here's what I put in my backpack: lunch box, water bottle, 1 spiral notebook, 2 composition notebooks, planner, glasses, pencil bag, phone, calculator, small accessories (such as earbuds, lotion, etc), and sometimes I can stuff in a light jacket.
The backpack is very stylish and I love the color I got (the dream blue). Even though it's small, it's surprising how much things can actually fit in it and how light it actually is. I think the best thing about it is how it can look stylish and be very light at the same time.
The only con is that the straps can get longer if you carry too much stuff. My things weighed down my backpack, causing the backpack straps to length throughout the day. Also, the straps are pretty long and the shortest length still goes past my waist.
Overall, make sure to read the dimensions carefully and measure out whether or not it's the right size for you. Even though it can hold a lot of stuff, the more things you hold, the easier the straps are to lengthen. I highly recommend it for school and it was a great buy!

I had the City Pack MiINI, after a year of trying to fit 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag I gave up and ordered the larger City Pack Backpack! Just got it yesterday and I’m so happy with it! I can stuff EVERYTHING in this bag with room to spare! I even have room for my 24oz water bottle! I appreciate the padded straps since I carry a lot in mine. My only complaint is the zipper on the main compartment….I wish it had a double zip like the City Pack MINI but I know I will have this bag for years. I love it!

The Kipling City Bag is the BEST!
The City Bag is my favorite as it holds lots. The fabric is long-lasting, clean-looking, and strong. I think, I have all colors of this bag. So far, I've decorated mine in subject, such as, Seattle, Disneyland, San Francisco, Frida Kahlo, and others.
The only thing I don't like is that the monkey is now all made of plastic and the key fob inside the bag is not available any more. 😭

I LOVE THIS. I’ve been looking for YEARS for the perfect everyday backpack for me. I like all the compartments, especially the front “pouch”. It’s light, cute, holds all my things, and I can throw my MacBook Pro in there on days I need it. All without being a large bulky backpack. I’m so happy with it. My only complaint is the straps adjustment gets loose throughout the day. I tend to re tighten them everyday at least once. I don’t mind it too much though.

Surprisingly Spacious
Love it! At first I thought it was way too small but after using it for a couple weeks it actually fits all my daily items: a 13” laptop, iPad, pencil case, glasses case, and some other small things. I love that it’s much smaller than a regular sized backpack so I don’t feel silly wearing it to my college classes and my office job. I sewed in a piece of elastic to the back panel and now it holds my laptop in place and leaves space for everything else. I wish it had more organization in the small front pocket but other than that I have no complaints!

Very lightweight and maximum usage of pockets makes this my go to bag when out and about. It holds more than I initially perceived but also is lightweight so does not weigh me down when fully loaded. This is my 2nd city pack bag and I love it!
I use it on my commute to and from work. I carry my lunch in it along with another pouch for personal items, my umbrella, water bottle, hand sanitizer, lotion, the usuals. Love the pockets because I can reach into them without having to remove the bag off my shoulders. The bag is so stylish and the color is so rich I receive plenty of compliments for it! A New York City city bag.
I love the extra pockets and extra zipper storage on the outside. Only flaw is the strap adjuster. The straps adjuster is constantly sliding.

Best Backpack Ever

Everyday backpack
I love using it! It’s lightweight and it can hold a lot for a quick day trip in a park or beach. I was able to fit a tumbler, a pair of clothes, and some snacks. It’s now become my everyday bag whenever I’m buying groceries or I’m out strolling around the city. There are also a lot of pockets, which makes it great for storing stuff. I love the back pocket feature that makes storing wallets and phone feel more secure.

I love this back pack! I can’t wait to take it to use at Universal parks and Disney on my next trip! Two water bottle pockets, enough room for umbrella, rain ponchos, snacks, and Minnie ears and lightweight too! I got the mini power pink gorilla key chain too since this one came with black.

LOVE IT! I have about 4 (others) of this same-sized backpack. It is perfect for me because I carry a lot of stuff! I can carry my IPhone, IPad Mini, a paperback novel as well as my many make-up bags loaded with stuff and a steno notebook.
I bought this size because I wanted the Back-Pack feel, but not a large one, nor did I want the smaller one. This medium size is perfect.
The monogram which is top-notch, too. Neat, clear and very professional.

This bag is perfect to carry all the things I need for a days outing. Padded slot holds e-reader safely. Outside pockets hold sun glasses and the stuff you need fast. The two compartments under the flap is a great place for valuables to keep them safer. I can even fit a jacket or quick beach change.

The best backpack ever
My review is for the olive green small backpack which I've now been using for the past month. It's beautiful. I love the style and design. I have 2 mediums and this is my first small backpack which I use instead of a purse. I love the city pack and think it is the best designed backpack ever made. Both sizes are light and compact and have multiple pockets, zippers, and compartments, cinch cords, etc., - they thought of it all with this backpack. The best feature is the back zipper on the outside back of the backpack which I now have become so accustomed to that any other backpack without this feature is just just "meh". It adds an extra measure of security and is a very hard-to-find feature. I wish all backpacks had this feature, but they don't. The only thing that could possibly make the city pack better would be double zippers, but despite that, I am very happy with this backpack.

Great for travel and day trips
I bought this as a day backpack for a trip to Japan and it has been excellent. I can even fit my laptop in here! The quality is great. The back zippered area was perfect for valuables. I love the color!

A Happy Purchase!
I've been using this backpack everyday since receiving it in the mail and like it very much. Since walking can be an issue at times because of the leg amputation I use a backpack so I do not have to keep sliding a purse strap back onto my shoulder. The backpack is quality, made well, it's not what I would consider sophisticated, it's more very casual. casual is perfect for me. The bag is lightweight, easy to carry and puts a smile on my face with the LEO monkey keychain I bought to go with the bag. I'm 5'1" tall, 140 lb and only needed to let the straps out halfway to be able to easily slip the straps on and off my arms.

BEST city backpack EVER! Not only the print is gorgeous, but it has sooo many pockets! It is super safe, super comfortable. It fits an iPad Air (4th Gen) that is 10.9-inch. It won't fit a MacBook Air 13'.

After looking for a new backpack purse I decided this would be the one that is most needed. I've been using a backpack for over three years now due to having gate issues when walking... I have a below the knee amputation. The bag is perfect for me and for all the necessary items I normally carry. There are so many pockets on this bag I finally have all my stuff separated into categories and easy to find. The bag is lightweight and the stitches are perfect, not sloppy. I'm 5' 1", the straps needed only to be let out halfway for me to easily get the pack on and off.

After retirement
Since I have retired from the workforce, I realize that I do not need to carry so much 'stuff' around with me. The City Mini is perfect for my necessities. The two things I use most often, checkbook and cell phone, have designated places. The zipper compartment on the back secures my checkbook and the zippered pouch on the front holds my cell phone for easy access. Additional items tuck nicely in the main part of the backpack.

Good size for me.
This is a great size for me. I would not be able to put my iPad in it so for travel I would use my larger Kipling. I wish it had the key clip inside like the other one and all the pockets zipped; otherwise it’s great. I would recommend it. Need more fun prints like this!

Barbie vibes in city packback
It was pretty cute size. Though it is small, it can hold up bunch of handy items one needs for travel, office works etc. Things I always fill it with such as 2 books, smart phone, mini wallet, pencil case, sunglass, travel size sunscreen, lip balm, keys, small dey snacks...see lots of room for lots of item...it gave me real barbie vibes with it's color. And fabric, zipper, stitching are very nicely done. Straps are comfortable and most importantly very light weight.

Stylish little backpack
I have so many Kipling bags but lately I've been on a backpack kick. I love this bag. It has a lot of room, so many pockets, but it's not too big. I tried the mini but that was just a little too small for me. And I love the pattern. It looks exactly like the picture. My only complaint is the straps. They don't stay put and I'm constantly having to adjust the length.

I know it's silly but it's luv at first sight for me on this one. Lots of room, comfortable straps, quality is great, and lots of secure pockets (the zippered pocket on the back is a bonus for me - I find this one to be the most secure for wallet or other valuables - great for peace of mind in busy places). Overall much better than I expected.
